Design and Manufacturing

Every MERêve piece is thoughtfully designed and produced in small batches by exceptionally skilled artisans in SEDEX-certified facilities. Using carefully selected GOTS certified natural textiles.

We believe that how a garment is made is just as important as how it looks. By producing in limited quantities, we reduce unnecessary waste while allowing every piece to receive the care and attention it deserves. From the first sketch to the final stitch, our process is guided by a dedication to enduring quality, responsible production, and timeless design.

ORGANIC TEXTILE

From the beginning, we chose to work exclusively with natural fibers... Not cotton. Certified GOTS Organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers - in soil that is tended rather than depleted. It is softer at the start and grows softer still with every wash, every wear, every afternoon spent wandering somewhere beautiful. We also work with organic cotton linen, one of the most breathable textiles in existence, chosen specifically for the pieces that live closest to the coast. That ages, like all the best things, into something even lovelier than it began. Every piece in the MERêve collection is made from one or the other. Nothing else.

EMBROIDERY

Four pieces in the debut collection required an entirely different process. Aurora. Delphine in Cloud. Faye. Solene. These garments feature embroidery across the entirety of the fabric, transforming each piece into something far more intricate than a printed textile. Every motif begins as a drawing. It is refined, adjusted, and perfected before a single stitch is placed. From there, thousands of stitches bring the design to life. The work is completed in partnership with our artisan team in India, whose craftsmanship and expertise make these pieces possible.
